Job Description
The BDE is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. You will act as the bridge between the company’s products/services and the target market, managing the journey from initial lead to a signed contract.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research: Identify potential clients, industries, and market trends to build a robust sales pipeline.
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Use LinkedIn, networking, and cold outreach to connect with high-level decision-makers (Managers, Directors, CEOs).
Client Presentations: Prepare and deliver professional pitches and product demonstrations tailored to the client’s specific "pain points."
Negotiation & Closing: Handle objections, discuss pricing and terms, and ensure the successful signing of contracts.
Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and explore upselling or referral opportunities.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to refine sales strategies based on market feedback.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), Marketing, or a related field (e.g., Engineering for technical sales). An MBA is often a significant advantage.
