Job Description

As the Head of Business Development (Growth / GTM Lead), you will be responsible for building and scaling the commercial engine of FirstJobGo. This role involves owning the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, driving revenue growth, developing the partner ecosystem, and leading the business development team.

You’ll be instrumental in shaping the company’s growth trajectory — defining strategies, hiring talent, and collaborating closely with product and marketing teams to achieve ambitious business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the go-to-market (GTM) strategy across enterprise, channel, and campus recruitment programs.

Hire, mentor, and lead Business Development, Sales, and Partnership teams to achieve aggressive growth targets.

Design and optimize pricing, packaging, and business models for employer-facing products.

Collaborate with the Product team to align roadmap priorities with market opportunities and client feedback.

Build and manage a partner ecosystem including recruitment networks, universities, and strategic alliances.

Own and deliver on revenue, pipeline, and profitability goals, ensuring operational excellence.

Use data-driven insights to monitor performance metrics, forecast sales, and refine GTM approaches.

Qualifications

8+ years of leadership experience in Sales, Business Development, or Partnerships within the HR Tech, SaaS, or Recruitment sectors.

Proven success in scaling teams, building GTM frameworks, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Demonstrated ability in forecasting, budgeting, and managing P&L.

Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

Strong analytical mindset and comfort with data-driven decision-making.

MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
